Getting Certified

Once all pre-service requirements are completed and you are officially certified as a foster parent, you will be invited to a Welcome Meeting with our dedicated Foster Services Specialist (FSS) team. This meeting serves as an opportunity to establish meaningful connections with your ongoing support team, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident as you begin your foster care journey. During this session, we will address any questions you may have and help you acclimate to your new role.

Our Foster Services Specialist team is committed to providing regular, personalized support. While monthly contact with families is required, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond state expectations, often reaching out more frequently to ensure you're never without assistance. We are always available to offer guidance, whether you need help navigating challenges or simply want advice.

Additionally, our Family Consultant staff are available 24/7—including evenings and weekends—to offer support when you need it most. We're here to ensure you have the resources and help you need to provide a stable and nurturing environment for the children in your care.
